If you do not agree with these terms, you must not purchase tickets or attend our events, as with buying our tickets, you automatically agree on our company's policy (this disclaimer).
1.2 Ticket Sales and Refunds
All ticket sales are final. Once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
In the event of a guest cancellation, we will make reasonable efforts to provide a suitable replacement guest. Attendees will have the following options:
Use their purchased extras (e.g., Photo Ops, Meet & Greets, autographs) for the replacement guest.
Receive a refund for the extras related to the canceled guest.
If the replacement guest’s extras are priced differently:
- If the new extras are cheaper, the price difference will be refunded.
- If the new extras are more expensive, you will be refunded in full and given the option to purchase new extras for the replacement guest or receive a coupon to do so. Entrance tickets are non-refundable, even in the case of guest cancellations, as the event will still take place with the remaining guests and/or replacement guests and activities.

1.3 Guest Appearances
All announced guests are subject to change due to professional or personal circumstances beyond our control. While we make every effort to provide replacement guests of similar caliber, we cannot guarantee specific appearances. Guest cancellations do not entitle attendees to a refund of entrance tickets, as the event itself will proceed as planned.

1.4 Event Changes or Cancellations
Dutch Optimaskus Events reserves the right to modify the event program, schedule, or venue if necessary. Such changes will be communicated to attendees via our official website and social media channels. In the unlikely event of a full cancellation, ticket holders will be notified and provided with further instructions regarding refunds or rescheduling. We are not responsible for any additional costs incurred by attendees, such as travel or accommodation expenses, in the event of changes or cancellations.

1.5 Liability
Attendees participate in our events at their own risk. Dutch Optimaskus Events is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal properties during the event. However, we've covered the event location and all its guests and attendees due to a special event insurance. Dutch Optimaskus Events isn't obligated to share this information on its website and/or social media accounts about the insurance policy and about the details of what is covered by this event insurance. We are not responsible for any disruptions caused by third parties, including but not limited to technical issues, venue problems, or force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions).

1.6 Reselling Tickets
Tickets and extras may not be resold for more than their original purchase price. Any violation of this policy may result in the cancellation of the ticket without refund and Dutch Optimaskus Events reserves all right to ban you from all future events. Dutch Optimaskus Events is not responsible for any issues arising from the resale of tickets between private individuals. We strongly recommend using secure payment methods (e.g., PayPal Buyer Protection/Credit Card) and obtaining proof of purchase when buying or selling tickets.

Paragraph 5: Children's Policy at Dutch Optimaskus Events
At Dutch Optimaskus Events, we strive to create a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive environment for all attendees, which are especially organized for adult attendees. Please review the following policy regarding children at our events:
5.1 Age Restrictions & Alcohol: Our conventions don't have age restrictions.
We do however, strongly advise to not bring small children to our conventions, as we can't guarantee the safety for their health in crowded spaces, nor for their hearing. Also we can't predict what is being told on stage by our guests who may share their own views/opinions. Also, alcohol is allowed at our conventions and you carry the responsibility over your child(ren), from all ages, as in the Netherlands "NIX18" applies and we maintain their guidelines at our conventions. Meaning, we don't pore any sort of alcohol to children until they have reached the age of 18 years old.
5.2 Supervision Requirements:
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. Unaccompanied minors will not be granted entry and may be asked to leave the event.
5.3 Ticket Policy:
Children must have an official admission ticket. We sell our tickets per available, guaranteed seet in the Auditorium(s) and have a "we don't oversell" guarantee. Therefor all attendees including children need to have an admission ticket.
5.4 Safety and Responsibility:
Parents and guardians are solely responsible for the safety, behavior, and supervision of their children throughout the event. Dutch Optimaskus Events is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or incidents involving children.
5.5 Event Content:
Some events may include content or activities that are not suitable for children. It is the responsibility of parents or guardians to assess the appropriateness of the event for their children before attending, or to keep them away from those activities. No allegations nor claims or legal consequensed can be made to Dutch Optimaskus Events, our guests and their managing agencies, staff, partnering companies, or the location itself for any damage that your child has suffered during certain activities. We strongly advise to not bring small children to our conventions.
5.6 Lost Children: In the event that a child becomes separated from their parent or guardian, please immediately notify event staff or security. We recommend establishing a meeting point with your child upon arrival and ensuring they have your contact information. We ask everyone who brings a child, regardless of age, to provide their personal details to our organization. We do not share this sensitive information but maintain a list of all children present for the authorities in case an incident occurs, such as the evacuation of a building, to ensure that all children are assisted as quickly as possible.
5.7 Facilities for Children:
We can't guarantee that at the location Family-friendly designated areas for nursing or diaper changing is being provided, and this strongly depends on the location. We do not offer child-friendly activities, also no daycare facility.
5.8 Refunds and Exchanges:
Refund policies for children’s tickets are the same as for adult tickets. Please review the refund policy on the event page or contact customer service for details.
5.9 Behavior Expectations:
Children are expected to adhere to the same code of conduct as all attendees. Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the event without a refund. Please be advised before you bring along small children. Our attendees and guests experience, will always be the priority as everyone has paid to attend our conventions, therefore, we can't allow disruptive behavior of any kind, especially not in our Auditorium.
5.10 Accessibility:
If your child requires special accommodations due to a disability or medical condition, please contact us in advance so we can look for options to assist you, although this is no guarantee!
